Frequently Asked Questions
Technical clarity on the SATE-Laravel (Current Product) and the broader SATE Platform roadmap.
All Your Questions Answered
SATE-Laravel is a technical verification engine designed specifically for the Laravel ecosystem. It doesn't just run tests; it audits the causal relationship between your test actions and their observed side effects to ensure your "green" suite actually proves behavioral truth.
SATE-Laravel is for CTOs and senior engineers who have suffered through "Green Lies"—passing CI suites that still fail in production. It is optimized for large Laravel monoliths where testing integrity is mission-critical.
SATE-Laravel is deterministic heuristics, not a chat bot:
- No Hallucinations: Uses rule-based static analysis and pattern recognition (integrityChecker.js).
- Context-Aware: Directly analyzes your Models, Routes, Factories, and Service Providers.
- Verified Knowledge: Trained on a baseline of 5,000+ real-world Laravel tests to ensure idiomatic generation.
SATE-Laravel uses pattern-based generation (smartGenerator.js) to propose unit and feature tests derived from your application's specifications. Unlike generic tools, every generated test is treated as a "candidate" and must survive the same rigorous verification gates as hand-written code.
It is our unique verification method that proves an assertion passed because of the test action (Act), not by coincidence. We associate observations to acts to detect "Ghost Tests" that pass regardless of the logic under test.
SATE-Laravel is built on a design-based deterministic model. While no tool is perfect, our engine is designed to prioritize absolute rejection of unanchored signals over "helpful" guessing. If a test is unanchored, it is rejected by principle.
While SATE-Laravel is our current product, the broader SATE vision includes:
- 82 Specialized Analysis Engines: Expanding into temporal forecasting, security intelligence, and executive analytics.
- Hyper-Scale Performance: Engineering for 10M+ LOC repositories with distributed execution.
- Full CI Log Anchoring: Extending blockchain anchoring from deletion receipts to the entire build history.
- Polyglot Support: Cross-language AST mapping across PHP, JS, and TypeScript.
SATE-Laravel uses public blockchain anchoring (Polygon) exclusively for data deletion receipts. This provides an immutable, non-repudiable audit trail proving your proprietary code was programmatically removed from our systems.
Yes. SATE-Laravel operates on a local-first model. We only extract metadata and behavioral metrics required for verification. We do not store or transmit your complete source code to external servers for processing.
SATE-Laravel integrates with PHPStan and your test runner to create a feedback loop. If a test fails an integrity gate, the engine analyzes the failure signal and attempts to auto-amend the code or test until it meets the required threshold of truth.
